I had just turned 30, at my heaviest weight ever, and gaining. I had dieted my whole life and I was TIRED. I was tired of worrying about what I should or should not eat, how much I should eat, when, etc., etc. But, I was also tired of being overweight; it was interfering in my life and happiness. I felt helpless and hopeless… I was skeptical, but to my surprise, by the end of the class, I had lost 17 pounds without dieting. Losing weight has been great, but I have to say the best part is the freedom—freedom from dieting and the burden of a bad relationship with food. Food no longer controls me, and it is in its proper place in my life. I cannot express how great it is to know that I will never diet again and that I will also reach my goal.
